Special Trail
Day 1-2
the safari begins at Maun Lodge where your guide will meet you at 07:00 hrs. You will travel to central to Central Kalahari game reserve which is the second largest game reserve in the world situated right in the centre of Botswana; it’s characterized by vast open plains and ancient river beds. The San people have been resident in and around this area thousands of years ago. You will spent two nights in this area and do two game drives per day, and game like brown hyena, leopard, Gemsbok, springbok can be viewed.
DAY 3-4
After our final morning drive in Kalahari we head straight to Okavango delta through Maun to the eastern part of the delta. On arrival at the mokoro you will meet your guide and the polar that will transfer you on the mokoro (dugout canoe) and cruise along the narrow Boro River enjoying the exquisite bird life as well as the stunning landscapes. You will camp in one of the islands deep into the delta. You will spend two days exploring the beautiful area on Mokoro excursion and guided walks
DAY 5-6
Inspired by the beauty of the Delta your journey continues to Moremi game reserve one of the best wilderness areas of Botswana which covers swamp and dry areas. You will spend two nights in this magnificent area which never fails to impress. You will do game drives in the early mornings as the sun rises and in the late afternoon. After morning game drives you will return to camp for siesta. After dinner you may as well sit with your guide around the fire and listen to storytelling
DAY 7-8
Chobe National Park commonly known for its diverse and stunning landscapes especially the Savuti area will be your next destination. You will explore the Savuti mash and learn about its history. Morning and afternoon game drives will be your norm.
DAY 9
Early in the morning we leave to Kasane where you will do shopping and interact with the local people and at around 15:00hrs you do the boat cruising in Chobe River to further explore the mighty river and the Sedudu Island. After the boat cruise you will leave to your lodge for an overnight.
DAY 10
In the morning you will cross the Zambezi River and then drive to Livingstone on the Zambian side (visa required) or Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe to do falls tour, shopping and take part in some activities and return in the afternoon……
